Hand crafted Magic Wands
Are they magical themselves? Perhaps. Combined with your inner power they do have the ability to focus the mental talents you may possess. A basic wand, which takes me nearly eight hours to complete, is fashioned from fully cured round stock, usually beech or ash (exotic woods now available), sanded by hand with finer and finer grits of abrasive paper, stained to the requested shade, light honey, reddish brick, mid tan, or cocoa brown. An optional hole can be drilled up through the handle so that an item which has personal meaning for you can be placed within and sealed forever. Only you will be privey to its special significance.
The wand pictured here has a spiraling copper twist traveling along the grip - further strengthening the bond between one's inner force and the wand's focusing ability. This wand required 20 hours for its creation and is like no other, In fact, all the wands I bring into this world are unique and ground by hand on an abrasive grinding wheel. My wands are not copies of each other - they reflect my moods and creative ideas at that particular time. All I require is general information on the intended recipient of the wand (things like height, hand size, & age as examples). This allows me to tailor the wand intuitively to the one who will be wielding it.
My wands have found homes with people from many walks of life. One is a choir conductor, another is a show horse trainer, some are students of occult mythology, and of course, several are fans of the Harry Potter saga.
